KU was pitted against who could very well have been their worst matchup of the tournament and rocked them by 32 points. That second half was poetry in motion. I have never seen a team so fun and electrifying when they're clicking.

They couldn't have kept up, but Purdues coaching staff should be ashamed of themselves. They went full reerun and stopped working through the post. Sure, they made some boneheaded turnovers trying to get their moves right, but you have to throw it in there every play. I'd be fueling the plane up if I was a Purdue fan.

And if they work through the post, it probably limits some of their dumb**** turnovers that led to runouts and slows the game down.

He didn't need to score tonight. He needed to play d, and rebound... Or at least block out well enough so others could rebound. It blew me away that we out rebounded then in the first half.

He may be needed to score going forward, but not tonight.

They'd be the favorites in my book, but UNC/Kentucky/UCLA still lurk in the bracket beneath them for the Final Four. I'd favor KU against all of them, but none of those games are even close to a lock.
