Drive by shooting in Brookside

Jesus. Now even the nice neighborhoods are getting shot up.

This town needs an enema!

http://www.kansascity.com/news/local...180768716.html

Quote:
A man in his late 30s was sitting on his front porch in Brookside on Wednesday morning when he was shot to death, Kansas City police said.

Just after 8 a.m. police were summoned to the 200 block of West 66th Terrace, which is just east of Brookside and Wornall roads, on a shooting.

“It appears that our victim was sitting on his front porch of his residence when he was shot. The victim’s spouse heard something and came out and discovered her spouse on the ground,” said police spokeswoman Sgt. Kari Thompson.

Investigators are searching the area but have very limited suspect information. The shooting is not believed to have been random.

Police said they were looking for a white 1997 Chevrolet van with Missouri license 6FA 453. Anyone who sees the van is asked to call 911. Police warned people not to approach the van if they see it.

Police are speaking with the victim’s spouse to determine what happened. A car was heard speeding away immediately after the shooting. Investigators are also trying to determine if the victim had just walked his children to school prior to the shooting.

Police are canvassing the neighborhood.

“We’re hoping to get to the bottom of this and solve this case as we hope to solve every case,” Thompson said. “We need help. We can’t solve this alone.”

The death one of three homicides reported in Kansas City in the past 24 hours.

And yea, you keep thinking that. You keep thinking the law is on your side.
I know from family and personal experience you'll more than likely get hauled to jail and charged with something, 2cnd degree murder(cough cough). Every damn sheriff out there does not take kindly to people shooting other people in their county. No matter what the circumstances. And good luck if it's an election year. Better hope you've got $50,000 set aside for legal fees.
And to really put your theory to the test be sure and shoot them from behind like this POS did.

That's the smart thing to do if you want to end up in prison, just shooting someone for being on your property.

Jungerman was not charged or convicted of anything outside of a bullshit civil court case.

If you are in fear for your own personal safety or security the law is on your side.

I'm not going to shoot the pizza delivery guy, moron.

Let's say it's 3 AM and I'm roused from my slumber by a racket out back.

I live a few blocks from Troost and I know there's a criminal element not too far off. So logically, I grab my gun before I go out to see what's happening.

There's a scummy-looking dude on my back porch rummaging around in my shit. He sees me open the back door, sticks his hand inside his jacket and makes a clear step towards me.

What do you suggest I do at that point? Run and hide under my ****ing bed?

That's not the situation you described, you just said "on your property". Yeah, if you want to put the guy in arm's reach making an aggressive motion toward you it's different than shooting someone who's facing away from you.

Let's say he had his back turned to me when I discovered him on my back porch.

Do you think it's wise to give him a chance to do something aggressive?

You should totally give criminals a chance to explain themselves and peacefully escort them off the property, right?

Evil was met with evil. No tears. A lot of regret for all the idiots involved.
What about the judge and jury should they all be killed to because they found that old man scumbag responsible for his actions?

BAM, you're going to jail. YOU DON"T KNOW THEIR INTENTIONS.

Look, all kidding aside. What you think about what you can do and walk away without any problems is wrong. You might be ok, you might not when it comes to the legal side of it.

Let me ask you this. Hypothetical...

Two guys have kicked in your door and has you and your wife tied up, has your mother tied up and standing up against a wall with a knife at her throat. This guy has been beating her and already said he's going to kill her. You're able to work free and grab a nearby gun and shoot the guy. He dies.
Do you think, in that situation, you would walk away with no legal problems ? You would think so, right?

In real life, if you were the guy who pulled the trigger you would have gotten charged with 2cnd degree murder. Spent 3 years, in jail, trying to prove you were innocent. Only to have the prosecution drop the charges 2 days before your court date.
That's how shit turns out in real life.
So, by all means, get trigger happy.

No, because people are idiot sheep.

The lawyer led those sheep down his own path to riches.

I understand that they did bum rush him and when he showed a gun and started shooting they ran. once again no charges filed even after multiple incidents of Jungerman using a fire arm to defend himself and his property

You should see what I expect his alarm records will say. I bet he gets drug out of bed twice a week to answer call like that.
It is amazing that the police reports on the shooting have not appeared. The have quotes what was damaging to Jungerman but not full disclosure.
