I have always found it difficult to hate on the Texans even when rooting against them would help the Chiefs. Considering I spent a decade in Houston and was a STH, they're the closest thing I have to a 2nd favorite team. I'd pull for them in a superbowl but not take a whole lot of fulfillment from it.

I hear ya. I still am a STH. I used to watch the Chiefs every week amd only go to a few Texans games a season, but now I find myself going to many Texans games. They're a fun team to watch!

I was never really sold on the texans, until today.

I wish I could get to more games (schedule just won't allow for it). I was still a huge Chiefs fan since I've been in town (even went to the season opener at the Astrodome the last year the Oilers were in town and they played against the Chiefs--bought tickets at the gate and sate on the lower level anyway). I've been a fan of both teams since the Texans came into the league.

Technically, I'm still a Texans STH but my MIL has maintained and paid for our seats the last 8 years. I'm sure she would relinquish them if we ever returned but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I am not even in the mood to start from scratch and build another business at this point in my life.

I'm surprised at how much the Ravens seem to have fallen off this year. I know they have injurys on defense and they were playing maybe the best team in football today but damn... they barely even beat us.

Pretty soon this won't a Chiefs football forum anymore but a general football BB if Clark decides to keep the status quo this type of stuff will be more common here.

I very, very seriously doubt that unless you were paying attention to the stands in the 4th quarter. That place packs out even when they're not an AFC favorite in the playoff race.

That's is because a many of the fans watch the game on the many flat screens in the bar areas while they eat and drink. The place was far from empty, my friend has season tickets and I go when it is not in conflict with the Chiefs game. They do a good job with tailgating and the atmosphere. The food is good.
