Staind National Anthem
Aaron Lewis lead singer for band Staind blows Star Spangled Banner at game 5 of World Series. Though he apologized profusely he did completely rip Christine Aguilara for botching Super Bowl National Anthem. Paybacks is a bitch.
You would think these supposed professionals might study a bit after accepting this honor instead of just winging it before 40,000 +. I bet old neck tattoo would be pissed if the artist misspelled whatever that thing on his neck means.

Before 1931, other songs served as the hymns of American officialdom. "Hail, Columbia" served this purpose at official functions for most of the 19th century. "My Country, 'Tis of Thee", whose melody is identical to "God Save the Queen", the British national anthem,[2] also served as a de facto anthem.[3] Following the War of 1812 and subsequent American wars, other songs emerged to compete for popularity at public events, among them "The Star-Spangled Banner".

On a positive note and one I fully support and applaud is that the Kansas City Symphony Orchestra will be preforming the National Anthem on game six.

This is a great idea to have them preform and you don't have to worry about certain musical singers messing up the lyrics, I'm looking forward to it.

Funny that the patriots who have an issue with this also have an issue with his neck tattoo. You know, the "Don't Tread on Me" neck tattoo. Not that I support neck tattoos, I think they are every bit as dumb as all the indignation over a stupid song and ritual. I just enjoy the irony.
