Wade's performance today relative to the rest of the playoffs was absolutely a fluke. And we know it's a fluke because NONE of us right now can say for sure if he's going to score 15 points next game or 30.

I wouldn't call what he did tonight a fluke. A healthy DWade could easily replicate this performance.

This isn't like Birdman dropping 32 and getting 6 steals

Dwayne Wade kind of decided he was going to take over the game when LeBron wasn't in...I liked that. And he did.

The Heat won tonight because Manu and Splitter played a lot in the 4th.

It was a 3 point game in the 4th before Manu and Thiago shat it away.

Calling it.

Spurs win game 5.

LeBron will have 25ish.

Wade will go back to normal and have 14.

Leading scorers for the Spurs will be:

Danny Green with 20ish

Parker with 22ish

I wonder if Parkers hammy tightened up after the half, he was non existent in the 2nd half.

Also seemed like Lebron really got some confidence in the jump shot tonight late, so we will see if it carries over.

If I had to bet game 5, I'd bet Spurs.

But I still say Spurs are done. Heat win game 5, they win in 6. Spurs win game 5, Heat win in 7.

But we aren't talking about a healthy D-Wade. His performance tonight was unexpectedly good and there isn't a single person here who thought he had a shot in hell at scoring 30. It was a fluke.

That is not to say that he can't put up 30 whenever he wants to next year. But as of today, it was a complete fluke.

Wade had 41 games this year where he scored over 20 points and 13 of them where he scored over 25.

It is not a fluke.

to be fair

I said he was 90% useless so far (after calling Bosh 100% useless) and I cited that "at least Wade may be able to redeem himself"...

I guess Bosh did, too.

Pretty amazed, really. If those dumb****s could give the Heat 70% of that effort they'd probably go 75-7 one of these years.

Wade has not proved he can play healthy in this playoffs. NOBODY on CP would have predicted he could put up 30+ today.
Again, this is not to say he couldn't do this several months ago. THis is not saying he couldn't do it next year on a regular basis.

As of today, nobody expected him to play the way he did today. NOBODY has any idea which Wade will show up next week. For now, it is a complete fluke and as far as we know, he could easily put up 15 next week.

it's not a complete fluke when you're talking about Dwayne Wade

so you're half right

That's what's enfuriating about the Heat. I ****ing despise LeBron, but he gives effort in most games he plays, but his teammates don't always. Let's be real -- when the Heat swarm and attack on defense, they can't be beat. Their on-and-off consistency in effort is another reason I can't enjoy watching this team.

If what Wade did tonight was a fluke, Gary Neal and Green shooting like they did in game 3 is pretty flukey too.
