Tony Romo eyeing Broncos as offseason destination

Quote:
There will be a market for Romo this offseason, as the team will look to trade him. Though owner Jerry Jones said he's given no consideration to having Romo on another team, carrying him as the backup for another year doesn't seem realistic. Romo, I'm told, already has eyes on the Broncos as a possible destination if general manager John Elway decides Paxton Lynch needs another year and that Trevor Siemian isn't the guy.

DRIVE AND BALLS!!!! WHAT A GRITTY GM THE DONKS HAVE!
Gritty enough to win a SB with a Manning who only played 10 games that regular season, had career low (aside his rookie year) completion percentages, yards, TD, QBR, QBRAT, and AVG. Oh yeah, and despite only playing 10 games... he had his 3rd highest number of INTs during their SB season.

But yeah, the other 52 guys Elway put in place or re-signed don't count. The coaching staff he put in place that won a ****ing SB doesn't count either. Because he is Bronco and **** horseface.

Homer.

That's not what we're ****ing talking about dude. We're talking about how Elway has more "drive and balls" to make QB deals happen.

He doesn't.

I think Clark has drive. He actually got rid of Carl after 20 years. Then when he needed a new GM, he hired the guy almost universally considered the best on the market (Pioli).

When that didn't work out, he changed things up and hired the best coach on the market (Reid). Whether it works out or not, that's another story... but acting like Clark is sitting there doing nothing isn't right either. He's pretty much gotten the best guy every time. He just doesn't meddle in the day to day football stuff.

You don't sit a 1st round QB his second year unless he gives you a definite reason to or the incumbent ahead of him is a HOFer.
What would a KC fan know about drafting and developing a QB that will replace a SB winning HoF QB? Nutten.

By the time we get a modern-era, forward-passing type QB, the NFL offensive paradigm will have probably shifted back to running 45-50 times a game.

Sure glad we didn't draft Dak Prescott in the 3rd round.

Of course if we would have, then we wouldn't have gotten to witness the tremendous talents of KeiVarae Russell.

We wouldn't have gotten to witness Dak Prescott either, because Andy Reid is going to ride his Alex Smith horse all the way to the unemployment line.
