RustShack is even worse than the biggest Alice Smiff-slurping True Fans if he seriously thinks Dion Waiters is anything other than a scrub chucker.

I thought we had met some where in the middle on this issue.

I have always been an Alex Smiff slurper, because of his journey.

Not his ability.

Highest quality human being on the planet who could of gone the way of David Carr, Ryan Leaf, Vince young.

But, he stayed vigilant and a complete professional no matter his adversity he faced.

Is he a top 10 qb?

**** no, but he is a top 10 human being, and he isn't complete DOG SHIT.

You yourself were crushing Phillip Rivers before last season, screaming that your beloved bolts were going to be a top 10 picking team.

Boy, your tune has changed. And now, people are starting to talk about rivers as a quality human being, not the whiny shit bag he had been.

you defend your qb, ill defend mine.

The better question honestly is, why does a charger fan with the better qb, care so much about Alex Smith?

Hes FROM san diego, he loves SAN DIEGO. Why the hate bruh?

On to your point about Waiters. I really don't understand the love affair with him.

I really don't.

people are fine getting rid of Anthony Bennett.

They want to hang on to Wiggins at all cost, when in reality, had Embiid not been hurt, and Jabari Parker not purposely tanked his workout, wiggins would NEVER of been drafted by the Cavs.

He was literally their 3rd option.

yet people want to hold on to him like hes K.D.

I don't get it.

Because if you take Wiggins out, LeBron is the only player in the front 4 who plays anything close to defense.

More importantly, Wiggins costs $5.5M. Nobody is saying Wiggins for Love straight up makes sense. But Wiggins + $15M player (which is the same cap value as Love)? With that, you get a very good player and you have a player in Wiggins whose floor is to be an excellent defender and who has the ceiling to be an excellent defender who can also score. It looks like Wiggins for Love is going to happen. The Cavs better get another person out of this deal.

You're getting Corey Brewer in a trade that will happen on August 23.

Uh... Waiters is better than whatever a scrub chucker is. He has a slightly below average PER, but is not far from a lot of good players in their second year:

Waiters (15.9 PPG/2.8 APG/3.0 RPG/0.9 SPG -- PER 14.1)
Chandler Parsons (16.5 PPG/3.5 APG/5.3 RPG/1.0 SPG -- PER 15.33)
Klay Thompson (16.6 PPG/2.7 APG/3.7RPG/1.0 SPG -- PER 12.71)
James Harden (12 PPG/2.1 APG/3.1RPG/1.1 SPG -- PER 16.2)

Waiters is in the same group as Lance Stephenson, Klay Thompson, Bradley Beal, Jordan Crawford. And Waiters has plenty more improving to do.

Guy has talent. He needs to get better - just like most young players.

Snr, if you think he's a little bitch who doesn't get along with teammates, then why do you think I'm crazy for not wanting to give up the moon plus max contract to get him?

What I've said is that I think Wiggins will be a great defender and adequate scorer as his floor. The reason I don't want to trade away Wiggins is because I believe his floor is high enough that Wiggins $5.5M + a $15M guy is going to be a better fit for this team than Kevin Love at an eventual $20M+. And that's not even factoring in Bennett and a first round pick we lose.
