When it's money involved, Johnny Manziel is the surest of sure things.

Forget about winning games, it's about making money. Nobody brings in the coin in Houston like he will...

It's not like Mario Williams was a bust there. He was fine. Reggie Bush wasn't going to make them better than Mario Williams did. And they didn't need Reggie Bush to sell tickets.
They don't really need Manziel to sell tickets either for that matter.

whoever drafts Manziel is gonna need alot of patience. I see alot of young Brett Favre in him, but obviously the upside is tremendous if it works out.

We got the shaft on the year to suck.
You're really gonna be pissed when he is still on the board AFTER our first round pick.

Bush would be 2nd or 3rd on the depth chart behind Foster and Tate. He would have done absolutely nothing for the Texans. Williams was at least a difference maker when he was there.

The most rushing yards in a year that Bush managed to get with the Saints was 581 at 3.7 YPC.

Yeah, you're right, the Texans should have drafted him instead.

At the time there were alot of Texans fans that wanted them to draft Vince Young as well.

Could be a mobile Favre, could be a smaller Terrell Pryor.

And don't forget even the mighty Favre wasn't immune to COMPLETE brain fart games.

Six INTs in one playoff game.

You guys are COMPLETELY missing the point.

The Texans made the RIGHT football choice in drafting Mario Williams. And in the end, they won NOTHING with him. NOTHING, not a single playoff game.

This isn't about football, it's about BUSINESS. Drafting Johnny Manziel is good business for Houston. If they win with him, it's a bonus.
