Did it once with my gf, but it wasn't really worth it. Spending that money on a massage would have been a better use of my time.

Yeah, I was gonna say I used to use these a lot but kept waking up naked with blood all over my face. But I see the Altered States crowd already got here.

I've used them for a while now. I know it sounds really hoakie and like some hippy dippy bullshit but I was dealing with a lot of the things that I did and saw while I was in Iraq and Afghanistan. The tank gave me a coping mechanism that I didn't have before. I don't take any psych meds and I no longer have "wake up in a sweat" nightmares that plagued me for years before I started meditating, doing yoga and the tank. Just my .02 it may not work for everyone but it did for me.

I will also add, that if you aren't capable of being honest with yourself (and a lot of people aren't) and giving yourself a chance to think introspectively about what's holding you back and what you need to change don't waste your money.

Yeah, I guess you could say that but that's over simplifying it IMO. I have gotten a lot out of it, some people don't. I guess a lot of it has to do with what you're looking to get from it too.

I've done the cheaper version of this before.
Get blackout drunk, find a flotation device and float in the pool on your back. |
