He's been Green Bay's Director of College Scouting since 2000.

Players drafted under his watch include: Bubba Franks, Chad Clifton, Na'il Diggs, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila (KGB), Javon Walker, Aaron Kampan, Nick Barnett, Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Matt Flynn, Jermichael Finley, B.J. Raji, Clay Matthews, James Starks, Randall Cobb... just to name a few.

He was also Green Bay's Director of College Scouting from 1997-1998 when they drafted Ross Verba, Darren Sharper, Vonnie Holliday, and Matt Hasselbeck.

Why would anyone EVER want to join up with the jets? I just dont see the selling points for them like i do with the chiefs???

#1 Draft pick, New head coach? Offense minded team?

Do I smell the Jets interview as leverage for the Chiefs???

Who's to say he isn't waiting till after Packers finish their season first. If they make it to the Superbowl and win, he gets to bring a ring with him. I know if I was him and my team had a shot to win it all, I would wait. If the Chiefs didn't feel he would take he job, they would be continuing negotiations with other candidates and Heckert would have been announced as GM today.

Just my opinion.

He would get a ring regardless and the Packers already gave him permission so he is free and clear to do whatever.

Ego for the big market is very tempting for many BUT Dorsey is not that kind of guy and it just may be a practice of entertaining particular situations that appeal to him and not to look like he is jumping at the first option only.

But yes leverage as well for sure.
