There is a major PR campaign going on here. This **** stick is going to be back. I hope I'm wrong, but this doesn't look good at all.

Pioli will NOT draft a QB with the first pick. Count on it.

I think I'll be a Texans or Falcons fan if we don't fire Pioli at the end of the year. I'd take the easy way out to finally root for a winner.
Plus they have sweet jerseys. |

lol, i dont see where he said that expectations were too high. he said that everyone had high expectations and we looked good on paper, and well, thats about it, team sucks. Even reading between the lines i dont get that he insinuated it at all.
He pretty much said, i've dont a ****ing piss poor job, because im 1-7. Now, him saying he's confident in Romeo Crennel is a ****ing bold face lie. Crennel sucks as a head coach. Oh well. see what happens. Come on Clark do the right thing. |

When Scott said he was cautiously optimistic, he was saying people should not have been so excited, and their expectations were too high.
If you can't understand the nuance of what he's saying, you're obtuse. He doesn't want to admit that this team failed horribly to come even close to meeting expectations. In a very wordy way, he's trying to excuse this year as a transitional period. Which of course is total bullshit.

Was Scott cautiously optimistic, or were his expectations high?
Those are mutually exclusive. He's FOS, as he's always been. "Tyson Jackson is a three-down player."
