Has anybody mentioned this from the Redskins game?

That despite K-pass being active for the game, the Chiefs trotted out Terrance Smith at OLB to spell Zombo?

I'm telling you, we've got to get this rookie settled in at DL and stop trying to make the OLB experiment work.

Yes and it really pisses me off. I get the long term view but not getting anything from your top 2 picks in a year you are close to a SB is inexcusable.

He needs to play

Eh, DL guys pretty much always suck their rookie years. It seems Kpass is likely going to sit and learn this season. Disappointing, but it is what it is.

Well he's listed as an OLB on the team website and they used him there in preseason.

That's probably why. Wish we would rotate him on some obvious pass downs. Really don't like seeing Terrance Smith or Jarvis Jenkins rushing when Tanoh could probably rush at either position.

Yeah, but if you look at guys that were 'conventional' picks there like Willis or Wormley, they're not playing much either.

Expecting immediate contributions from a 1st rounder is fair - but it's not exactly common for 2nd round picks to hit the ground running. Sure, many do, but just as many do not.

And when you're taking a guy as green as Kpassagnon, you really can't expect that he was going to be among the guys that make an immediate contribution, especially when you're trying to teach him to be a stand-up linebacker.

If you're looking for some near term help, you'd be more likely to get it out of someone like Jelani Jenkins. Jenkins isn't much of a player, but he's a player that can play right now and not embarrass himself. He's still just hanging out in FA after being released by the Raiders and at 25 yrs old he'd know that this may be his last, best shot to stick in the league land earn himself a real contract.

If you're counting on K-pass to be a player this year, I think you're simply barking up the wrong tree. The odds of that ever happening were extremely slim.

Did it occur to you guys that maybe KPass just ****ing sucks?

Maybe for the moment. He might get better. But those short arms ain't going away, and if he's already maxed out as a player, that's not very good.

It does make you wonder since they keep trotting ZOMBIE out there?

ZOMBIE is a slow version of Eric Hicks- without the sack ability.

I know he got popped for 4 games this year but David Irving would be a nice addition to have right now.

RNR has had his snap count dropped this year. Thought he was coming on strong but doesn't appear to be
