It's time we ban pitbulls

Enough is enough. These dogs are way too strong & unpredictable. Plus, they are normally owned by the wrong people. Deadly combo right there.

This latest pitbull attack is absolutely heartbreaking.

A 14-month-old Wisconsin boy has died after a brutal attack by a pair of pit bulls, authorities said on Thursday.
Police received a call from Susan Iwicki, 30, on Wednesday saying that she and the young boy were being attacked by the dogs, according to local NBC affiliate WMTV. Iwicki told police that she and the boy had each sustained injuries.

The boy died of his injuries at a Milwaukee area hospital later on Wednesday, the Walworth County sheriff’s office said, according to The Associated Press.
The boy had the “biggest eyes, great smile,” family friend Valerie Brylow told local affiliate WTMJ. “He was a great little boy.”
“He is adorable, absolutely adorable,” Nicole Jennison, another family friend told the station.
The boy’s name has not been released, and an investigation continues. Both of the pit bulls were removed from the property and euthanized on Wednesday, WMTV reported.
The fatal dog attack was the first in Wisconsin in a decade, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Presumably this would be after establishing a relationship with the doggos and their owner.

I used to feed my neighbor's great dane all the time. He was a sweet old beast.

Sooooo...moving to place where I share a fence with a couple of pitbulls. I will have my own dogs in the backyard: a shih tzu and a husky.

The fence isn't real tall (about 4 feet), but the dogs are kept on leads in the yard, so they can't reach the fence.

Owner was giving them a nice bath today so they seem to be well treated. I got barked at but they didn't seem to want to tear my head off...it was pretty casual "hi human" barking.

Any reasons for concern? Will probably try to meet their owner and the dogs if possible.

My Dobie has been in 3 dog fights in her 12 years on this earth. All 3 have been with a pitbull. Those dogs are breed to wreck havic on other dogs. 3 Pitts (a pack) will shred any dog esp yours if their provoked. I'd be careful.

It would have been cheaper for me,if the Xs pit bull would have just killed that poor poodle.

Buster was never aggressive with humans, cats, garden snakes, birds, occasional raccoon or opossum ect.
But if Buster seen or smelled another dog. Buster would just go ape shit mad. And one day on my watch. Buster got out and tore this lil ankle biter apart.

Multiple surgeries . By the time they sued we were broke up. They sued the X for close to $ 5,000.00 IIRC. Then she sued me and the judge made me pay half.

I think this is the instance that the cops came to Bugs house looking for me. Cops asked Bugs if they could go into his house and look for me. Bugs said nope.
