Now we're talking. I'm high as a kite on Odighizuwa, and I think he's a perfect fit in Tampa.

The BPsA for me in that group are Collins, Erving, Flowers, and Malcom Brown. Probably throw DGB in there. I think you could make an argument for any of them being the best. They all have a lot of talent.
I think sometimes it's easy to get caught up in "who is the best" but it's not like you draft a guy and suddenly their ability is unveiled as some absolute value. From that point you still have to have a guy that is willing to work hard to improve and to learn your system. To some extent, I think GMs can get a bad rap at time when a pick doesn't pan out because, while you can try to research someone's character and gauge their ability, it can be tough to know exactly how someone will react once they feel they've "arrived" at their goal... or what their true goal is. Hell, a lot of people thought Borland would go higher in the draft than he did... I wonder if some guys were tipped off in interviews that he didn't really love football and that's why he made it to the third. Drafting the guy is one part of the story, but it's still on the player to "make it happen" so to speak. JMO. |

Ok cool... I'll play along and say Erving. I think he has what it takes upstairs the most of the guys I listed as possibilities.

i think the most interesting in the 1st round is Atl
they have literally no pass rushers....and watched beasley, ray, and dupree go i get the rationale for white (i love him), but think in real life their fans would not dig that pick

Agree and you don't need two stud WR to make an offense work, plus they still have White. They have to go pass rusher but maybe they are just preparing go sign Houston to an offer sheet after the Draft |

Id would say Malcom Brown and Gordon, you could argue another OL of your choice, over all good 1st rd great work form everyone!
Gordon or Gurley to SF they need some good news... Erving seems like a good fit for KC all across the line if someone gets injured. There's only 1 ILB I like in the top 50 and 1 WR I would be ok with after the top 3 WR are off the board in the 1st rd. As far as DBs still undecided...

If the coaching staff thinks they can handle it, Peters would be aN outstanding pick from a value standpoint

With Roddy on his last legs and will turn 34 in November and I see White as a top talent. Looking back, I do regret not having Dupree above Peat on my list for the Colts...but ya gotta protect the franchise. |

Got David Carr the best receiver in the draft in Amari Cooper. Now let's get a tackle to keep him upright so he can throw to Cooper.

They are in an interesting spot, going back to a 4-3. They have about a million DTs on the roster and a number of LEs, but yeah they are really missing that blind side edge rusher. I think Cliff Matthews is their top guy over there right now unless they are putting Clayborn on the right side. Personally I would have had a tough time passing up Beasley there, but Julio Jones is in the last year of his deal and Roddy White is 33. I can see it playing out this way, as Seattle hasn't really had that dominant edge rusher... they picked Irvin in the first and he hasn't had the impact they hoped. Will be an interesting pick for sure.

Hmm... some of the surprises in the first round are making me very nervous for my second round board...
