I don't care if the drive is 3 hours of monsoon, as long as they get the game in.

I believe they open at 430, but I won't be rolling up to the K until 630+. I have to wait until one of my Son's gets done with a makeup test he is taking after school.

We've officially done it!

Yosted is now part of the recognized lexicon of American vocabulary and referential definition of its implied state or circumstance.

I present to you the standard bearer and preeminent source of record in journalism for over the past century in America, The New York Times.

Just a small blurb in the various features they're running in conjunction with today's start of the World Series.

But, there it is in black and white, Yosted. Well, and poorly highlighted in green.

I'm probably delusional, but I give CP credit for birth to the term Yosted. In fact, I have never heard anyone else use it casually, but every time I have and explain it's origin and meaning everybody loves it, and thinks it's genius. Many picking it up and using it themselves now.

Congratulations around the table, everyone! Now, let's go kick the ever-living shit out of the Metropolitans.

1st pitch can't get here quick enough.

Just a thought for thread starters, this link is updated before each game, might be useful for the OP for gate information, etc.

After getting to the hotel around 3:00 and settled in, that'll work out perfect.

Vegas has the Mets as a very slight favorite in this one. We were fairly heavy underdogs in all 6 against Toronto.

The series odds are dead even.
