Will KC get honest officiating if Oakland loses on Saturday?

There is a lot at stake for the NFL..and it's bid to manufacture a winner if Luck keeps his hot hand.

Chiefs game will be played on Sunday...the day after. If KC wins, they regain the #2 seed. Denver loses and the week #17 (vs. Raiders) game becomes less profitable.

If both Oakland and KC lose...its a win for the advertisers. Donkos stay relevant for another week.

Every scenario is a bad situation for The Chiefs. Unfortunately...in the era where profit trumps fair play...this is a legitimate concern.

The whole world saw the depths they will go for the Raiders in Mexico...

I'm not choosing that game as evidence so much as making the point that Joe Flacco is possibly the least marketable QB of all time, so it would be weird if the NFL conspired to help him win

Denver cannot surpass KC regardless, but they have a slim shot at the #6 seed.

If Oakland loses, it is to make the #2 seed race come down to week 17. That means KC wins on Christmas. I hope this is the case.
Actually a guy who believes the NFL is rigged and scripted thinks the Colts are going to make a run and go to the playoffs...since before the season he's been saying the "numbers" say this year is a Colts/Giants or Pats/Giants Bowl but he's certain Colts are going to the playoffs.

If they are trying to manufacture Oakland into a winner they are doing an excellent job of hiding it with penalties. They may have gotten some missed calls (houston game) along the way but overall they look like an up and coming team that has gotten better whether you like it or not.

They set the record for penalties against the Bucs and lead the league overall. http://www.footballdb.com/stats/penalties.html

If the Chiefs dont get the 2 seed back its their own damn fault by blowing it, not some conspiracy to screw them over.

It's not about the number of penalties it's the time in which they are called...

Exactly...The game against NO, it was 4th down with game on the line. Carr sails the ball 3 feet over the WR head...next to the sideline. Game was over...but an official 30 feet away calls a late PI. The one standing 8 feet away didn't. It was terrible...there cant be a penalty on an uncatchable pass.

That, with the horrible Houston officiating is why Oakland is leading the division.

The is no chance the review booth didn't see Houston set a first down. ZERO. Everyone watching that game saw it.

Occam's Razor would suggest that a new stadium deal/$200 million in free tax dollars would influence outcomes. It's the simplest choice.

Oh, but I do...corporations are greed driven buy their very nature/existence. I will take true nature as the simplest outcome.

I wont go into the details of having the biggest power players in Vegas brokering this deal. They are good, honest people...casino magnets. An 8-8 Raiders team...that has sucked for 15 years is much harder to sell.

Some people really need to get their meds checked. Raiders as beneficiaries of an NFL conspiracy to get them into the playoffs. Now I've REALLY heard everything. Mecca and BlackOp really need to get out of the basement more often and set their tin foil hats aside.

Beat me to it. The idea that one of the most penalized, if not the most penalized team since they came into existence, is suddenly getting help from the refs in the same season they got flagged for 200+ yards in one game is truly head-up-ass material.

The alleged spider-wire incident of a few weeks ago is a mathematical proof by comparison.

For a penalty to be decisive, the beneficiary has to not only do something with it; they already had to have been in a position to do something with it.

As for fixing, it does the NFL zero good. Something like a Raiders-Cowboys Superbowl would indeed draw huge ratings. But a fixing scandal following it would bury the NFL; there might be a Superbowl the year after, but it would be held at a fairly large high school with the appropriate halftime entertainment of 9th graders butchering Stars and Stripes Forever while grandma shot video and posted in on Youtube.

While you completely ignore the hoard of calls that went against Oakland, similar PI calls to the one you are sure is evidence the NFL wanted Oakland to beat NO against Oakland late in games abound.

You are the polar opposite to Occam's Razor with your reasoning and the twisted route you are taking to get to your conclusion.
