Just found a JoCo Sheriff's Office notice on my door
Says there's a "court notice you must pick up ASAP".

Wonder what in the world this could be?

List of possibilities on their website includes:

Writ of Restitution (Evictions) - my rent is not delinquent
Special Writ of Executions - don't think I have any sort of outstanding debts
Service of Protection/Stalking Orders - last I checked I'm not stalking anyone
Vehicle Registration Enforcement - everything up to date
Delinquent Tax Collection - everything up to date
Foreclosure Sales - not applicable
Divorce Orders - not married

Any other possibilities?

that is going to be my guess as well. Red light cameras or speeding cameras for parking tickets that fell off your car.

If it was a red light camera thing, it would be the first ticket of any kind I've received in over a decade. Would that be hand delivered by the sheriff's office though? I always assumed that was something you got in the mail.

Nah, I don't do any drugs.

I think if it was apartment related, I would've gotten a notice from the complex first. That's what really has me confused, though. If it was any of the stuff I can think of, wouldn't someone have contacted me about it before the sheriff's office? I haven't gotten any mail or phonecalls or anything about anything potentially civil suit related.

I hate that they left this shit on a Friday, so I get to stew about it for the whole weekend.
