Just found a JoCo Sheriff's Office notice on my door
Says there's a "court notice you must pick up ASAP".

Wonder what in the world this could be?

List of possibilities on their website includes:

Writ of Restitution (Evictions) - my rent is not delinquent
Special Writ of Executions - don't think I have any sort of outstanding debts
Service of Protection/Stalking Orders - last I checked I'm not stalking anyone
Vehicle Registration Enforcement - everything up to date
Delinquent Tax Collection - everything up to date
Foreclosure Sales - not applicable
Divorce Orders - not married

Any other possibilities?

My first instinct actually is mistake.

And no, I haven't missed jury duty. I did receive a questionnaire regarding federal court jury duty early last year (maybe a full year ago now), but I filled out the questionnaire as directed, sent it back to Topeka and then never heard another word, no summons or anything. Have never received any other kind of other jury duty related materials, state or local or whatever.

Not a scam either, address and phone number match what they have on their website, and the deputy left a name and what I assume is a badge number. No, a reference number of some kind.

And actually I guess it can't be a mistake, now that I look my name's on it. But I have no clue what it could be. Being tightly wound by default, I get to pile this on top of all the other stress I'm dealing with right now. Yay.
