Vote for the person that you think would win this match in a battle to death or submission. As background, assume that prior to the tournament you received 10 minutes of training on every weapon. The time listed is the amount of time before the match where you learn what the weaponry and venue is. All participants are handed their weapons at t=0 unless stated otherwise.

Venue - Across the road from each other on a moderately busy two-lane state highway.
Starting Distance - 52 feet

Main Weapon - Pilgrim-style blunderbuss with supplies for three shots (first shot is loaded)
Backup Weapon - None

Prep Time - 8 Minutes
Special Factors - You have been blood doping in anticipation of the fight (boosting your red blood cell count for higher endurance)

Main Weapon - Native American bow and 6 arrows
Backup Weapon - Shiv fashioned from a toothbrush and a wooden chair leg

Prep Time - 7 Minutes
Special Factors - None

Oh is that how it works? I thought RM just gave it a couple of days and then called it when it was clear there was no more action. Either way, looks like you got this in the bag. I'll be rooting for you to win it all, so at least I can say I lost to the champ.

A victor is called two matches down the line, so that we have two matches active. Don't set your bow down just yet.

As long as I can keep my distance from him until I can lure him in to firing the first shot, this is an easy win. I'm likely not going to be able to land a fatal shot with the bow and arrow, but I can use it as a zoning tool to keep some distance.

Once he fires the first shot, he's not getting a chance to reload. I run in with the shiv and claim victory.

You know i voted for you but now im beginning to regret it.. what kind of man cant land a fatal shot with a bow and arrow! (assuming you are trained in this sort of thing as is with this game)

Despite his cultural appropriation of native artifacts, TLO overcomes the public relations hit and lands the killing arrow shot. TLO moves to Round 5 and the final four.

Alas, it was a good run to the Elite 8. Gotta make some adjustments and shoot for a deeper run next tourney.
