Sandy Hook Demolition
So apparently the Sandy Hook task force recommended that they demolish the school and rebuild. I just don't see how that helps the kids involved and would be a huge waste of taxpayer money. What do you guys and gals think?

Is this federal money being spent on this or state and local?

If it's state and local, why is it anyone else's business what they spend their money on? If it's federal, there are plenty of other stupid things tax dollars are being spent on, may as well spend it on something that will make someone feel better.

The school was built in 56 and has limited renovations since. Its not as if this wasn't coming in the near future anyway.

They're still finding pieces of airplane at the 911 site. I would hate for a teacher or kid to find a small body part or a blood stain of some sort in future years. It should be torn down or at least gutted and completely rebuilt. Different floor plan. Everything.
