What do you use Old Bay seasoning on?
I never tried it, picked up my first can from the store just now. Let me hear some suggestions.
Popcorn? Steaks? Veggies? |

In Chesapeake Bay area, it's on every dining room table, nestled between the salt and pepper shakers. But it's more than that. It's a time-honored tradition. When somebody whips out the little yellow can, you know you're in for a good time. For Zest Results, Use As Directed Sprinkle lovingly on: all seafood, all shellfish french fries & fried chicken hamburgers & sandwiches popcorn pizza hors d'oeuvres dips & cheese platters baked potatoes mashed potatoes steamed veggies macaroni meats & poultry deviled eggs, scrabbled eggs egg, tuna or chicken salad casseroles stir-frys soups, stews and gumbo Bloody Marys Tip: Keep one in your purse or fanny pack to battle bland food on-the-go. http://www.oldbay.com/products/old-bay-seasoning.aspx Hmmm, this is one thing I don't have. Only, place I've seen a recipe call for it was crab cakes. That is until I read this. |

Before grilling fish, do a quick marinade of Old Bay, olive oil and lime juice. Steam some shrimp following the recipe on the side of the can. Goes great on burgers, popcorn, eggs, asparagus.....yeah, I'm from Baltimore.

We just did a "Throw down" with it today as a matter of fact.
Added some Cayenne pepper for extra kick. Crab, jumbo shrimp and hickory sausage. |

My brother in Maine lays his clam bake/lobster boils down on newspaper like that. Plus ears of corn and red potatoes. Just laid out all over a table on newspaper.
