I’m sure there’s sites specifically for that but I would just negotiate it with any job posting I was interested in. If you’re qualified enough that they want to hire you, and it’s not logistically impossible, it’s just like negotiating salary/time off, etc.

The company I work for is shutting down the plant I work at in the next couple of weeks. I have been semi-offered a job to work from home doing the same thing for another plant located in Iowa. I'm supposed to talk with the president of that plant and confirm on Monday.

A couple of questions for anyone that may have done this or gone through something similar:

Did you renegotiate pay? I haven't had an increase in several years and would like to ask for more money.

How did you set up your home office? They are setting me up with a laptop but I would like to add a larger monitor, keyboard and mouse. I'm also considering bringing home part of a cubicle to put in the rec room for a larger, more secluded work space.

Do you have distractions? My wife babysits one kid for her cousin during the week and works weekends so I will have a two year old running around upstairs.

Is there any reason you don't like it? ie, going to an office and working with people in person etc.
