We got power on cape Haze, eyewall started breaking up over Naples and started losing its ass side. Still blowing and lost an old oak from what I can tell but we're golden. Drunk and tired ass hell. I've been helping friends and family prepare since Thurs a 6 am. The Chiefs win was an incredible boost.

There are insurance options, MPCI which is a revenue guarantee program which is based off your Actual Production History (APH) and prices set during the years. There is also straight hail in which you buy a level of coverage then the adjustment would be made after damnage.

They started with the grocery stores, scavenging what they needed for sustenance: water, crackers, fruit.

But by nightfall on Thursday, what had been a search for food took a more menacing turn, as groups of looters, some of them armed, swooped in and took whatever of value was left: electronics, appliances and vehicles.

“All the food is gone now,” Jacques Charbonnier, a 63-year-old resident of St. Martin, said in an interview on Sunday. “People are fighting in the streets for what is left.”

Getting the crap pounded out of us right now with the winds and rain....we still have power and water so we are thankful. Wife and I are taking turns being up and watching for the pop up tornadoes that have hit the Jacksonville area.

We are thankful.....many more people in much worse situations so I won't complain.

We made it through with no damage to any property. The power went out around midnight and it sucked sleeping without air, but at least we're all ok
