Samsung Note 7 catching on fire - Comparable phone?
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2...ghts/92066322/
I'm pretty pissed. I was amped about this Samsung Note 7 phone, and got it when it came out. Then it was said it was defective because 60 phones of 2.2 million of them started on fire while charging. So they recalled it, and I took my phone back and got the NEW Note 7. Well, now the NEW Note 7 is also recalled and is still a fire risk. On top of that, you can't even fly with the flipping thing. AT ALL. You can't power it down, and put it in your checked baggage. TSA won't even allow that. So I can't even travel anywhere until I get a new phone. I already bought a $200 charging case for the phone so I guess that is useless. So, as opposed to just complaining about it, I need to know what is the most comparable phone to the Note 7. IT has to be AT LEAST as big. A Samsung S7 will not do. I will not do an Iphone. I realize they are fine phones, I'm just too used to Android and I have tons and tons of apps many of which just work on android. I've heard of the Google Pixel. I don't know if that is comparable or not. Maybe I can keep my Note 7 and smuggle it on flights after all this hoopla goes away. There really should be no worry to the phone if it isn't powered on. |

The question I pose is, what if they decided to make the battery REMOVABLE like they did on all of the previous Notes? That is the problem to my understanding, just a faulty battery. If they would have made the battery removable people could have just swapped out the battery with a new one provided by Samsung and the company would have saved 5 billion dollars without destroying their brand.

It was by far the best phone ever made to date, if you don't take into account the battery issue.

I think it's hilarious they have a Note 7 already. I have had a Note 3 for 1.5-2 years. 7?!??
