Protect Josh Allen from turnovers as well. Run the ball with more of a dink and dunk passing game against the typical defenses with 2 deep safeties. That strategy was pretty damn effective to win a lot of games during the 2nd half of the 2023 season.

I asked a big-name NFL insider about Joe Brady when the Bills first promoted him to OC He told me: "He's not very well respected around the league because he doesn't know how to scheme guys open." in 2020: D.J. Moore finished as Carolina's WR3, behind Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel in PPR in 2023 (pre-Brady): Diggs averaged 86.8 YPG (WR9) in 2023 (post-Brady): Diggs averaged 45.0 YPG (WR58) This is your glimmer of hope that Diggs might not be fully cooked and an explanation for why he desperately wanted out of BUF Run first and poor passing offense is going to make elite WR's pissed. When you also realize Diggs has to get so many targets a game or he's going to go crazy then this was always going to lead to a breakup. Mcdermott got his puppet at the expense of losing a #1 WR and taking a massive dead cap hit. Horrible ownership as Mcdermott should have been fired a long time ago.

Oh yea, and running the ball when you have Diggs and Davis is a lot easier than running the ball when you don't have them, but that's another argument. |

Bills will be fine, they'd already missed their window anyway.

Didn't the play caller change in the middle of the year for Buffalo?
Something happened and they went away from Diggs. Texans got a great player. |

Maybe. Diggs just didn’t look good in the few games I saw. Or in our playoff game. Maybe he’ll bounce back. Maybe not.

Hey, good to see you around. Yeah, they've hit some homers with Stroud and Will Anderson Jr. then getting Diggs, Danielle Hunter, Mixon and D. Autry this offseason. They're going to probably win the AFC-S (probably in dominating fashion) and could be the team to beat in the AFC for the 1-seed. A lot of potential down there.

I didn't say it was. And that's why I said they'd probably win the division in dominating fashion; there's not a lot of competition down there. But they beat some decent teams last year including an utter beatdown of CLE in the playoffs, completely carving up that no.1 defense. Obviously we'll see if they can come back and be a little more consistent, and they have to integrate all the new pieces yada yada yada . . . but they have the foundation of a pretty talented team. Hell, they came within a hairsbreadth of beating KC in OT a couple seasons ago, and in D. Ryan's rookie season as HC, without Stroud (freaking Davis Mills/Jeff Driskel for god's sake) or all the new weapons on both sides of the ball. And that was the year the Chiefs had "the BEST offense in the league!!!!" They've been ascending the AFC ranks for a couple seasons now and I won't be surprised if they're one of the top seeds in the AFC come the playoffs.
