If there’s anything positive that KPass showed over the course of last season and in particular week 17, it was that he can bend. The fact that you say this leads me to believe you didn’t watch him at all.

Here’s an example:

Based on what? The guy almost had 3 sacks in his one start last year.

I’m not saying he’s going to be a hit, but you’re talking like he didn’t show us anything at all and it was all negative when that’s just simply not the case.

If that's his bend, yeah, that's not very ideal.

He's just so damn tall. I don't really know that he can get much bend around the corner.

It’s not the best example (I didn’t even watch before I posted lol), but he displayed the ability to bend on multiple occasions. Seth even acknowledges it in that very post. It’s clearly adequate IMO. I don’t know what more you can expect with all of that size/length.

Here’s another:

https://mobile.twitter.com/RealMNchi...1%2Fframe.html

For an extremely raw rookie, the guy showed a lot of promise in his lone start. It’s amazing that people are completely ignoring that week 17 performance.

Eh, I'm not sure on that, but he played a good game.

I dont' think he has adequate bend around the corner because of the length. It's going to be hard to get under tackled with that.

The Michael Bennett type role is what I think would be better for him, but they seem to want him at OLb.

He got a sack as an inside rusher in that game and the other was as an OLB with his hand on the ground.

It says a lot that Veach was non-committal about Tanoh. He’s still developing in year 2 and we don’t know what he is.

Well...that’s half of his rookie contract for a 2nd rd pick to know what he is. We shouldn’t be drafting inexperienced players like this in the first 100 picks of the draft.

I’m glad Veach drafted known players from big conferences that played their position in college. No more “projects” until the 4th rd.

You've gotta mix it up though. You can't always just draft one or the other.

Sometimes you've gotta trust your coaches to develop a raw talent and sometimes you need to just draft football players.

Gotta find a balance, which was something Dorsey seemed to struggle with.

It wasnt just the sacks. He also beat Bolles a few times and drew a holding penalty once that would’ve been another.

Veach’s comments were concerning until I saw Tanoh with the 1’s throughout OTA’s. Seems like the coaches are higher on him than Veach.

Pretty sure Tanoh is working with the 1’s bc Dee Ford hasn’t been practicing.

When was the last time a player from a smaller school with a lower level of competition had success playing a new position in the NFL that he never played in college?

Yea that’s probably true, but they clearly feel better about him going into year two than they did last year. He took all or most of the snaps from the looks of it. I still have more faith in KPass than Ford for 2017 and beyond.

Why?

Atleast Ford has shown he could be a double digit sack guy, if nothing else.

Yeah i'm not feelin' those examples of his bend either. He looks rather straight up. That's not to say im down on the guy.

He needs to develop that pass rusher "lean", in which his body is at a 45 degree angle coming around the corner.

This dude is going to need at least another season before we really start to see what he can do imo.

I'm not sure he can develop that at his height though. Physically, that's just gonna be tough.

I still contend he could be a disruptive force inside against guards and centers though.
