Food and Drink Where do you grocery shop and how much do you spend? - Page 4

We usually do the grocery shopping on Saturday, first stop is Aldi for basics such as milk, eggs, cheese, some produce and bread. Second stop is Hy-Vee for meat, laundry detergent and anything else. Between the two I average about $100.00 a week to feed a family of 3. What is your routine and how much do you or your family spend on grocery's for the week.

I can't walk in to a grocery store without spending $100. Doesn't matter what I'm there for... always ends up 80-130.

Safeway delivery. Trader Joe's/Sprouts/local carniceria

Aldi first for whatever we can get there and then Price Chopper after that for the rest. Bulk items we get at sams. We spend about 100 per week and maybe another 50 or so a month at sams for my wife and I.

Aldi/Wally World/Ingles and Food Lion all within 2 miles from me.. We change up..

Probably spend around 150 a week

Price Chopper! It varies what I spend, depending on the season and if I am having friends over for a big dinner. On average, over 100 per week. I look for stuff on sale and buy extra if it is something that won't go bad before I can consume it.

Generally it's Hy-Vee. On occasion Costco. On less occasions, Price Chopper.

Publix, both my wife and I work there so its convienent, spend about fifty to hundred a week.

All these stores are within 5 miles of the house. And I usually just choose two of them to get what we need for the week. Many times, I just end up going to one of them and if the sale is good, I'll just stock up so I don't need to get it next time.

Mainly Hy-Vee, but also hit Target, Sunfresh, and Festival Foods (only when an item or two are needed on the way home from work).

The Mrs shops at Baker's, which is owned by Kroger. I have no idea what she spends but we always have over a 1000 fuel points each month so I'm guessing over $1000? We get 10% off of everything since my son works there so that helps.
