Your printer must somehow be connected to the same network as the other computers. It doesn't just do its own thing. Using either network cable, or the printer connects wirelessly to the same wireless network that the rest of the devices use. Most likely you have to go through the wireless settings on the printer itself, and connect it to your wireless network.
