Also, don't forget that we only have like 23 players under contract who actually have a chance to be on the roster in 2016. Add in 18 draft picks for ~14 mil and you still have to decide how to allocate funds amongst the remaining 12 players.

Yeah, absolutely.

But the great thing is that not only will the Chiefs add several less expensive players through the draft, they're also cutting old, dead weight.

I'd be shocked if the Chiefs weren't the youngest team in the league heading into the 2015 season.
