Gaga is one of the most talented musicians on this planet, regardless if you like her music or not. I am okay with this move, as I believe we will see her true talent (national anthem), and not her outrageous outfits and weird songs she likes to produce from time to time.

she's really toned down the craziness since she hit it big, readily admitting it was purely to get exposure.

She appeals to multiple demographics why wouldn't she be asked to perform? I can't believe people get upset about who plays the halftime shows. If you're at a good super bowl party it's a good opportunity to go out back and smoke weed.
