Ok these were my impressions of the game and how I think we look so far

I haven't posted in a while but I just wanted to tell you what I saw yesterday. I know there is work to be done but this is what I think so far.

I rewatched the game this morning. Our Offensive line is gonna be amazing the biggest addition as I said when we signed him was the RT Schwartz. Alex and Foles had more time to go through the progressions not running around for their lives.

The kicker Santos is coming into his own. He kicked a 58 yarder with ease. Him with colquit and hill and DAT or Knile makes our special teams dangerous.

I think the O is gonna be light years better our RB depth is crazy good. The WRs are way better. It's not gonna be just kelcie, Charles, and Macklin anymore. This O has many weapons and can attack you many ways.

The addition of Foles was very smart . Unfortunately the young Qbs aren't ready yet it will be interesting to see which one they trade or cut and which ones they keep.

Yes the D is gonna struggle at first with the young CBs but they are all talented and by mid season this D is gonna be scary. The addition of Chris Jones is looking like we got the steal of the draft. In fact this entire draft looks like one of Dorsey's best. Especially as I said at the time like the additions of the CB DJ White and LB Dadi Nicholas both raw but extremely talented.

This is the most complete Chiefs team I've seen in years. Yes there are questions right now what team doesn't have them at this time of the year. However look at Dorsey he's showing to be a great GM. Remember he took over a 2-14 team that was gutted with no real depth and an inept O. To turn around with three winning seasons and two playoff appearances. Even ending the playoff winning draught.

I know I'll probably be blasted for these comments saying I have rose colored glasses on but I have faith in this team and with the right breaks this is a championship caliber team. How many times have really been able to say that?

I hate the idea of seeing Charles in another uniform. But at this point you look at contracts for Berry, Mauga, and even Bailey and realize we're at a point where we can afford to unload superstars. Will be interesting to see how active they are in the trade market. Maybe they're waiting for a green light on charles' physical.

Please comment more. And here is a little tip to thicken your skin to post more. Just consider the source. Overtime you realize who are the insecure folks who have an emotional need to be a 'trolling bully' because everywhere in their life outside of CP they are a 'nobody' and CP is the only place they can actually 'seem like a somebody' regardless of their football acumen. Respectful humorous criticism is one thing but 'trolling abuse' is another.

Please post more because as it say's in the 'good book' "iron sharpens iron" and there are a lot of knowledgable guys here that provide many good takes coming from different angles and your angle is always welcome in my world because we all sharpen each other.

Sean Smith will not be missed. He only played well against mediocre to poor QB's and offenses IMHO. Smith got lit up by good QBs. Good riddance.

I think we are stronger in the defensive backfield this year with more depth. I have confidence that Gaines, Nelson, White, or Russell will step up to be the other CB.

As I said Dorsey should be given a lot more credit for turning this team around with the draft and players he's added.

I have thick skin it just annoys me that some people don't comment on the topic, but use it to say something that attacks me. Yes there are some good people on here and hopefully will still comment on subjects I post .

I agree bout the O line the Schwartz pickup was huge Alex will have more time watch.

Even though we have what seems like an improved offense, we will still be driven crazy by the pass happy offensive game time play calling. I still like a run first team. Lower chance of things going wrong, and wears out a defense.

And on fumes he is still the best OLB we have when considering Houston has been rather unavailable as of late.

2017 draft is loaded with solid edge/pass rush players and the Chiefs will have a boatload of picks. Replenishing the position begins soon.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Who would trade for a rb coming back from serious injury?

Probably the weakest position on the team.

1. Corners (Peters and nothing until someone else proves something)
2. OLB (Houston is hurt,Hali is old(still solid for now) and Ford sucks. Hope young guys step up )
3. WR (until someone opposite of Maclin steps up. If Mac gets injured we are toast)

I agree with you philosophically if the NFL was still real football, but I don't think a run-first team can have success in the modern NFL. The rules are tilted toward passing too much.

At the moment I don't see the defense being that great. You are not a great defense in this league of routine 4000 yard passers if you can't rush the passer. I don't see where it is coming from.

As for the offense--yeah it looks improved, but although Reid is a great schemer, his play-calling is weird. Kelce needs to be a much bigger focus this season than he has been.
