Did Tony Stewart Kill Someone Tonight?

I'm seeing it on Twitter. On my phone and can't link. One of his fans says he ran over someone on a yellow and should be arrested for it.

It's an accident, for sure. He didn't mean to do it. But he did mean to make a point.... and it ended in a death.

I was watching FoxSports1 Sunday night. They had a legal expert on, and he was discussing this scenario. Said this is 2nd degree manslaughter, and he expects Stewart will be charged in a week or two with this count.

That would be my guess.

Two people doing two stupid things and something bad results...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Yeah. I haven't seen one expert state he was doing anything wrong here and they are going to prove that beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury? Don't waste the tax payers money on this one. He isn't spending a day in a jail.

Don't shoot me, I was just passing along info. He discussed 2nd degree manslaughter, and what it constitutes. He also discussed 1st degree manslaughter, and 2nd degree murder.

And the very definition of 2nd degree manslaughter was what the post I quoted. Stewart trying to scare the kid, and the result being the kid is dead.

Unless Stewart comes out and explicitly says that he was trying to scare the kid then that accusation is bullshit.

Yeah, I know. It was a shot at the attorney that acted like he knew that's what Stewart was doing. There will be no arrest.

He said he thought it would take a week or two, but that the DA would file the charge based on the all the attention being focused on that county with this event.

I'm not getting into this for a debate. I'm just passing along what I heard.

As I have stated earlier, I sometimes wonder why I ever post here. It's usually not worth it.

isn't the purpose of being on this forum to discuss one another's opinions?

I think we all know beyond a doubt that no one really knows what happened
