Vehicle Name and Gender

What is the gender of your car? And does it have a name?

For the purposes of this poll, consider the personally owned or leased vehicle that you drive most frequently.

I've never named mine either but when referring to my car it's she. Naming your car an actual name seems silly though.

There have been many named cars in my life. First there was Vinnie VanGo the camper van. Then the station wagon that was always going faster than expected that was named Nellie (as in Whoa...); Suzi the Suzuki, Sully, Flo, and currently Trixie.

My dad used to name all his cars with woman names but it's not a tradition that I chose to carry on. And I voted that machinery doesn't have genders but I do refer to my truck as "the old dog" and my Jeep as "my baby" on occasion. The Mrs did nickname her last car "Leaky" since the windshield leaked whenever it rained but that's not really gender-specific and so far no nickname on her current car.

Yea, in this case you name that car. Dottie would have been good too. She's a vicious life-sucking bitch from which there is no escape.

Silver Volvo S60. No name, but I have to assume since Volvo sounds kinda like vulva that it's a she. I've never looked, though. I respect it's privacy.

I'm disappointed nobody got a kick out of my story about unknowingly buying a girls SUV. You all make me sad.

I shouldn't really talk though, I do see a lot of women driving Grand Cherokees.

Plus I willingly drove minivans for over 15 years.
