who stepped in, showed how to make the team competitive, and than would rather take a backup job than stay in that dumpster fire of a situation in KC for another year.

Minnesotas O-line is getting killed.

That + the Cassel effect does not mean Minnesota will succeed.

so how are Pioli and Cassel hamstringing Haley is Pittsburgh?

I don't want to hear about the Oline,WR's or RB because the law around CP is that all things are minimal compare to a Franchise QB and Haley has one of those already.

The best the Pittsburgh offense has looked has been during the 2 minute drill when Roethlisburger basically takes over the play calling.*

A) Ben was pretty good under Haley last season, but hey, if you put credit on Haley, you really don't know who should get it -- Tomlin and the Rooney fam gave Haley marching orders to get Ben playing better and without taking chances of injury. Haley is simply following the grand plan for keeping Ben in that QB position for years to come. It's called invested interest.

B) Almost every QB takes over play calling during the two minute drill, but they are given a set of plays to focus on with keys and personnel already designed by the staff. it's called pro for a reason.

C) I really do not care about your constant negs re Haley -- you are wasting your time with that tiger.

Cassel is just an example of the Peter Principle at work. It's hard for me to really dislike him. He was trying, after all.
