Talking about race and all that jazz in DC has got me thinking, have we ever done a CP census?

Like a poll to determine the % of races, genders, religions, ages, maybe even sexual orientations?

We should do one. Until somebody tells me it's been done, here are the categories I'm going to register:

A couple of the questions may need to have the response sets edited. For example, here's how the Census Bureau typically collected educational attainment information from adults:

So you'll probably want to have a category for "some schooling, but not a high school graduate" and either put the J.D.'s in their own "Professional school degree" category or put the "Professional doctorates" (e.g. Juris Doctorates, Doctor of Medicine, etc.) in with the "Doctoral degree" category, not with the "Master's degrees".

It's the cool answer to the question of religion. You're not a believer because that's too hateful, and you're not an atheist because that's too closed-minded. You triangulate to the 3rd Way so neither group will judge you when you answer.
