Chiefs Alternate History Madden Franchise: Can Joe Montana take KC back to the SB?

Return of Mals: Joe Montana Edition

Downloaded a 1993 NFL Roster updated for Madden 17 last night.

All teams and players are edited to reflect their 1993 counterparts. Steve Young, Troy Aikman, Warren Moon and JOE MONTANA are all on this roster along with every other starter AND backup from 1993. This roster is so accurate it has Andre Ware on the Lions. Titans serve as the Oilers, Texans and Jags are full of generic assholes.

Chiefs have Joe, Marcus, DT, Smith, Carter, etc. Whoever did this is a genious and even got the player equipment right. Faces are computer-generated and coaches are wrong, but can't have everything.

The goal: get the Chiefs back in the SB with Montana at starting QB. Franchise will run until Joe retires. Not allowed to switch QBs.

LET'S DO THIS!

Elway is my bitch.

1993: KC 19-13, KC 18-10

1994: KC 37-15, KC 44-20

1994 Playoffs: KC 35-31

1995: KC 33-30, DEN 23-20 in OT (in a game where I benched half the team, including Montana)

1996: KC 29-27, KC 21-16

8-1 overall....I bet there's another playoff game coming....

Week 17: BRONCOS @ CHARGERS

Spoiler!

Here are your 1996 Playoffs.

Quote:
AFC

1. DEN 13-3
2. NYJ 11-5
3. CIN 11-5
4. IND 9-7
5. KC 12-4
6. CLE 10-5-1

NFC

1. TB 14-2
2. MIN 12-4
3. DAL 11-5
4. LAR 8-8
5. ATL 10-6
6. DET 8-7-1
The Chiefs will go to Indy to face Jeff George. He didn't do too well in Week 17 against them.

END OF SEASON DUMP

Terrell Davis wins the rushing title, NFL MVP, AFC Offensive Player of the Year, RB of the Year, and goes to the Pro Bowl. He runs for 2,044 yards and 22 TD.

All of this earns him ONE HUNDRED TWELVE THOUSAND PLAYER XP

As a result, Terrell Davis is now RIDICULOUS

Chiefs Pro Bowlers: Davis, Shields, Grunhard, Lomas Brown, Richie Anderson, DT, Todd Sauerbrun

Chiefs season stats

Spoiler!

NFL Stats

Spoiler!

The Chiefs should be able to beat the Colts simply because Jeff George is a bitch, but the injury report does not bode well for the playoffs. The Chiefs are going to have to sign a tight end and linebacker off the street just for depth.

Similar to the Titans Super Bowl loss at the 1 yard line.

I am saddened to see Joe go out like this.

It was heartbreaking, dude.

I was so proud of that drive. I'll always second guess that decision to give TD the ball inside the 10. I could have saved my timeout for another throw.

It looked like the Jets had a run blitz on TD's run with :13 left. Would have been a perfect play action opportunity. I'm fantastic with 50/50 hindsight.
