Is Albert Wilson... good now!?!?
Tonight's big catch was huge and hugely impressive, but Albert Wilson has been doing little things right all season. This is surprising, considering he has been, uh, not very good at football for most of his career to this point.

He's clearly not as good as the Holy Trinity, and he's probably still the 3rd best WR behind Conley, but... is Albert friggin' Wilson actually good now!?!?

He's gonna be cut next year as 14 is gonna take his spot but he's an important cog in the machine going into the playoffs for sure. I'm still always afraid he's gonna short arm the dam ball every time its thrown to him.

84 has taken over in the drops that's for sure - another td dropped tonight.

One thing for sure. We don't see people on here screaming for him to be cut like we have in the past. So something has happened to change perception of him on this board. Personally, my perception of him is unchanged. He is a solid role player at the 3rd/4th WR spot. I'm not sure what people expected out if him in that spot. If he was putting up the numbers that people here we're expecting from him, he wouldn't be a 3rd/ 4th WR. He would be a 1 or a 2. I like the guy. I think that he's good for the team, and I hope that the Chiefs keep him around for a few more years.

Wilson is good enough he has to be respected by opposing defenses. He cleared the safety for Kelce' s critical 1st down. He runs good routes, he blocks, & he does all the little stuff. He acted like a fullback leading Hunt on his last TD.

He will never be #1 receiver, but he does things that need doing. For one thing, he does not track the ball well enough to be a down the field over the shoulder receiver like Hill.

We have not seen the alligator arms that made him so hated since his first year. He has been severely under rated for at least the last 2 years.

Wilson is the greenbean casserole on the Thanksgiving table.

Hated the little bastard for a loooong time, but man, he has indeed made his case for a respectable contract.. whether in KC or elsewhere. He's not really worth a 3+ mil per year deal even still... but he's worth that 1.79 he's currently getting.

He's a valuable no 4 WR.

I'm sure people will take that as a slam but it's not. I like him in the slot and were Conley/Berry healthy this team wouldn't have suffered a 5 game slide...
