I ran the Round 2 seedings with placeholders for the wildcards, and they don't show up in the early heats. The good news is that this means I can start Round 2 while the Wildcard battle is still being fought.

So without further ado, I bring you the first heats of Round 2. Same rules as Round 1.

Heat 1: Sour Patch Kids versus Sweetart Jelly Beans

Sour Patch Kids over Sweetart Jelly Beans. I'm not a big jelly bean guy, and I like sour stuff so I'll give the SPK a shot.

Snickers Peanut Butter over Jolly Ranchers. For some reason I'm kind of wary of the SPB, but hey, it's chocolate. I'll give it a mild nod over the also-good JR.

Hershey's Kisses (Regular) over Bottle Caps. I keep hearing good things about Bottle Caps, but I'll take the safe bet of the kiss.

Hershey Bar with Almonds over Whatchamacallit. I can't shake the impression that the Whatchamacallit is a power bar. If I want candy, I'll go with the Hershey Bar.

Have you had a whatchamacallit? They're very good.

Either way, that last one is a tough heat. I don't care for regular Hershey bars, but when they throw them almonds in there, it's a good'n.

I'll go:

Sour patch kids. I don't usually like sour, but my kid handed me one of these the other day, and asked me to try it. Surprisingly, it wasn't that bad.

Snickers Peanut Butter. I'll be the one to say it, Jolly Ranchers suck.

Bottle Caps. They ****ing rock.

Whatchamacallit. My apologies to the Hershey bar with almonds, but it ran into a beast of a candy bar.

I have not yet partaken. It seems like I would like the ingredients, but then again they're the same ingredients in my power bars.

Sweetart Jelly Beans. Sweet Tarts are better, and jelly beans rule.

Jolly Ranchers. SPB is not good. Jolly Ranchers are awesome.

Bottle Caps. You keep hearing good things because Bottle Caps are maybe the best non-chocolate candy in this competition.

Whatchamacallit. Way, way, way better than the blandness and overwhelming mehitude of Hershey's with Almonds. Chocolate, caramel, peanuty, crispy wins.

Sour patch kids: Available all year round.
Jolly Ranchers: SPB is not that good.
Bottlecaps: Regular Hershey's chocolate is some of the cheapest and foulest chocolate on Earth. Anybody who voted for it must of never tasted any real quality chocolate.
Whatchamacallit: While Hersheys with almonds is better than regular hershey bars. Whatchamacallit is still better.

I agree with the bit about Hershey's being poor quality chocolate. As a kid I didn't really care, but as I've gotten older I've noticed myself being disappointed with it on numerous occasions.
