You don't know who he is????
  • He broke the enigma code of the Germans in WWII. Saved millions of lives.
  • Designed and engineered the first computer model in 1947.
  • First proved in 1936 that machines using algorithms could perform mathematical problems and calculations.
  • First introduced in 1938 the idea of relative computing.
  • 1948 developed the "Turing test" to determine when machines with artificial intelligence shows intelligence. It's still the standard today.
  • In 1948 he invented the LU decomposition method used today for solving matrix equations

Why didn't he become famous? Because he was gay and less than 7 years after the war, the British government chemically castrated him for being gay. Unbelievable huh? Saved millions of lives, may have been one of the smartest men since Einstein, so sorry we have to torture you because well your gay.

Maybe should have posted in the media center but I'm thinking most people in here have never heard of Alan Turning, the man who saved millions of lives in WWII and changed the course of the war.
