In some cases this is true. In other cases that's bullshit.

When Mary Kay Letourneau seduces a 12-year old, that's child abuse, and she deserves to go to prison. But when a teacher has sex with a 17 or 18 year old guy, and the only reason she gets busted is because the "victim" was bragging about it to his friends, sending her to prison is bullshit. You want fire her? Fine. But don't send her to prison.

Our society has over-reacted to this on an epic scale, and I blame Mary Kay Letourneau for the whole thing. If a guy is over the age of consent or is legally an adult, it's ridiculous to send a woman to prison for giving a guy an experience that he brags about to his friends and will fondly remember for the rest of his life.
