You could see Edwards coming on with a fast car in the closing laps. Kyle is my driver, but Edwards would have hung back and not raced all out, knowing his car was faster - then why watch NASCAR. Edwards pulled off an awesome - super perfect bump and run. We probably watched the best move for the win this season. Edwards’s crew chief Dave Rogers used to be Kyle's crew chief. The #18 team and the #19 team are teammates as well as friends. I honestly believe the #19 team would never attempt a bump and run on the home stretch unless Edwards had the skill to succeed. The tap on Kyle's car was so light that Kyle came in second. Very impressive. J/M/O. Kman, next week NASCAR is at Talladega - Think Penske drivers, Dale, Jr. maybe Denny Hamlin...Check them out. Hard track to pick a winner. Toyota's packages were great on short tracks - Now, the schedule turns to a restrictor plate track and intermediate tracks - It will be interesting to see if the Toyota's can maintain their dominance. Kyle and Edwards both won two each. I don't know - Hendrick, Penske and Stewart Haas (Harvick) might have the advantage going forward. Just my opinion

Kimi Raikkonen and JPM used to be teammates, driving for McLaren - They were two aggressive bulls in a china shop. I remember one race (could have been more than one) crashing each other out of the race. They would hit each other's cars all the time. JPM used to wreck every car around him...They were good drivers and very entertaining.

Have the first pick tomorrow for Talladega.....Super Speedway is so hard to pick cause of the "big one" could wipe out a third of the field...Jr? Hamlin? I'm leaning toward JJ...

Wow, Kman, It is hard to predict who will win on Sunday in Talladega. Drivers are just happy to finish, regardless of where they end up. Between the restarts and the cautions, drivers need the right strategy to know when to go. They need a great car, along with the right draft partner and a ton of luck in order to win at this track.
The leaders, on the final lap will most likely finish the race. The cars behind will get caught up in uncontrolled chaos. Can you hold on to your money this weekend? I hate the starting lineup. A bunch of loaded guns surrounds too many good drivers. When they start pushing all around, expect the good drivers not leading to drop back to avoid a crash. After reading Danny's post, it became clear that Joey Logano caused the Big One in NASCAR’s XFINITY race in Talladega. Starting lineup for the Geico 500: Pos. No. Driver Brand Speed 1 24 Chase Elliott Chevy 192.661 2 3 Austin Dillon Chevy 192.424 3 8 Dale Earnhardt Jr. Chevy 192.293 4 20 Matt Kenseth Toyota 192.181 5 48 Jimmie Johnson Chevy 192.116 6 17 Ricky Stenhouse Jr.Ford 192.089 7 2 Brad Keselowski Ford 192.008 8 11 Denny Hamlin Toyota 191.954 9 19 Carl Edwards Toyota 191.819 10 27 Paul Menard Chevy 191.812 11 5 Kasey Kahne Chevy 191.789 12 78 Martin Truex Jr. Toyota 191.581 13 6 Trevor Bayne Ford 191.566 14 14 Ty Dillon Chevy 191.509 15 31 Ryan Newman Chevy 191.298 16 16 Greg Biffle Ford 191.191 17 19 Kyle Busch Toyota 191.164 18 41 Kurt Busch Chevy 191.039 19 21 Ryan Blaney Ford 190.921 20 13 Casey Mears Chevy 190.772 21 44 Brian Scott Ford 190.730 22 22 Joey Logano Ford 190.382 23 43 Aric Almirola Ford 190.260 24 42 Kyle Larson Chevy 190.166 25 7 Regan Smith Chevy 190.109 26 32 Bobby Labonte Ford 189.966 27 34 Chris Buescher Ford 189.925 28 47 AJ Allmendinger Chevy 189.921 29 4 Kevin Harvick Chevy 189.800 30 1 Jamie McMurray Chevy 189.729 31 95 Michael McDowell Chevy 189.519 32 95 Landon Cassill Ford 189.470 33 55 Michael Waltrip Toyota 189.313 34 15 Clint Bowyer Chevy 189.025 35 83 Matt DiBenedetto Toyota 189.010 36 98 Cole Whitt Toyota 188.961 37 10 Danica Patrick Chevy 188.954 38 46 Michael Annett Chevy 188.478 39 35 David Gilliland Ford 188.467 40 23 David Ragan Toyota 187.636 Josh Wise failed to qualify for Sunday's race.

According to the video, rookie Brennan Poole in the #48 won the race. Why did NASCAR rule the race to Sadler?
I swear, NASCAR is so crooked! What BS - Robbed the kid of a win - Now pass me the hot wings! J.C. that was an awful block by Joey Logano. Wow! See video above. From ESPN: Quote:

NASCAR makes another mistake by throwing out the yellow that close to the finish line Dylan. It wasn't like they were goin to let off the gas that close to the finish line anyway. I feel bad for the 48 which should have been the winner.

How can NASCAR get away with throwing out the yellow moments before the cars pass the finish line? What a shame. Well, NASCAR gave the race to the they wanted to win the race. I feel bad for the #48. Kman: Whom did you choose to win in Talladega? I happen to like both of your choices - Dale, Jr., or Denny. I am aware that you are betting money on these races, so I try not to recommend one driver. Just so, you know, I am superstitious - Therefore I am reluctant to recommend Kyle. Al Bundy: On the preshow, they said that Kyle and Carl have not spoken to each other since last week. I find that hard to believe. Kyle has a very close relationship with the #19’s crew chief. I am not sure if it is pre-race hype. If what they say it true, your opinion last week is spot on. We will know soon enough during today’s race when teammates help each other and need a partner to win the race. Depending on the situation, drivers make deals with others for a needed push to run up front. Race is on! It's Dega, Baby!

Tony Stewart is going to swap out and let Ty Dillon finish the race.
Tony should have sat out due to injury and let Ty start the race. Pulling an over sized injured driver out of a car and squeezing another driver in – Hooking up all the safety apparatus is just crazy. Oh boy, the rookie Chase Elliott leads the field. Hold on tight. Edit: WTH, Danica crashes on pit lane entering her stall. Wow, she cut across and crashed into other two cars like they weren't even there to get to her stall from the outside lane. Hahahaha I've never seen that happen before.
