Most Unlikable Baseball Player Tournament - Round 1, Heat 2
Please vote for the two players you dislike the most in each heat. Feel free to give reasons (words, pictures, videos, etc.) why this player is unlikable, as it may not always be immediately evident and you may persuade others to join in your disdain of douchey players. Four players from the nomination poll will be chosen randomly for each heat, and the top two will go to round two.

HEAT 2:

Jeff Samardzija (Cubs, A's, White Sox, Giants)


Unlikable Traits:
- Instigates brawls and tries to fight everyone on the other team, including coaches.
- Has stupid hair.
- Has stupid mustache/stupid goatee depending on his stupid mood.
- Has a stupid face on top of a 2-foot-tall stupid neck.
- Has a nearly un-spellable last name.
- Got a 5-year/$90 million contract this offseason after posting an ERA of nearly 5.00 last year.

Mat Latos (Padres, Reds, Marlins, Dodgers, Angels, White Sox)


Unlikable traits:
- Is considered a clubhouse cancer and bad teammate. Has been on five teams in the last three years.
- Has parents who don't know how to spell "Matthew" or "Matt."
- Is on the White Sox.

Joba Chamberlain (Yankees, Tigers, Royals, Indians)


Unlikable traits:
- Is named "Joba."
- Got a DUI and broke his ankle on a trampoline during his tenure with the Yankees.
- Got into a public altercation with Mariano Rivera and was shouting at him and reporters in the middle of an interview.
- Once actually had the mustache you see in this photo.
- Frequently frowns for official MLB/team photographs.
- Was inexplicably signed by the 2015 Royals, who had one of the greatest bullpens of all time. Appeared in 6 games and posted a 7.94 ERA.

Yasiel Puig (Dodgers)


Unlikable traits:
- Seems like the outfield version of Yordano Ventura. Tons of talent but a head case who doesn't play up to his potential.
- Lazy player. Showboats catching routine pop flies, doesn't hustle, etc.
- Arrested in Florida for driving 110 MPH. On a side note, was also wearing pink jorts at the time.

Yeah, truly amazing. I voted for Chamberlain over Puig because he seems to be more of a douche off the field, but I'm kind of regretting it now. Puig is just such a knucklehead.

Samardzija off to a dominating start, as expected. I'm really surprised by how many votes Puig is getting, though. I expected Chamberlain to put up more of a fight.
