DayZ
With the DayZ standalone playable alpha release looming, I thought I would check out the mod version of the game. http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/

If you dont know, DayZ is an open world survival zombie game modification based off of the military sim ArmA 2 games. www.dayzmod.com

Basically its hardcore mode survival against zombies and even more dangerous, other players.

I have been watching vids for months and took advantage of a steam sale today to pick up ArmA 2.

Anyone playing DayZ right now? Servers? Thoughts? I have a teamspeak we can use!

that looks pretty badass.

I played this awhile back. Have they fixed all the hackers yet? I just remember it being waay to buggy to actually enjoy it. I always enjoyed the loner part. Would setup near that airfield up north, some town to the E of it or something. could live there forever. Then some hacker would spawn right on top of me and blap. Things like are why I stopped

Hacking is greatly reduced. They implemented a new system, and they are constantly switching things to server side. I haven't encountered a hacker since well before .50 and they are on .51 stable right now.

We have a teamspeak server that is available for your use regardless of game. Right now, DayZ is in the rotation in small doses.

so mr nickels found a truck and we proceeded to drive it at top speed around the map until a hacker booted us out, I shot up the truck, and he KOed me~
