Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

Have you played the game? If so, how much of it? I've found that the strikes are pretty difficult, and a lot of fun.

The Nightfall Strike is even worse because you don't get a checkpoint, it's the only mission I can't beat. I think I'll be able to once I fully level up the Warlock's Sunsinger subclass to get the revive yourself ability.

Has anyone been able to mix and match faction items?

I'm working on building out Future War Cult armor but I don't want their weapons. Once I'm armored up can I switch to a different faction and build up again?

Is rep earned based on the Mark that I'm wearing at the time or will the armor that I'm wearing have an effect also? Example: I'm wearing all FWC armor but a Dead Orbit Mark - what faction am I earning rep for?

Also, I don't know your level, but until your Cryptarch gets up in level, you aren't going to see great drops. His level kind of dictates your drop luck.

Yes. He decodes your drops.

I ahve a feeling that he has not played it yet. Just jumpin' on the hate train. While this certainly isnt the system seller it was meant to be, I could see how people would have a lot of fun with it.

Man working to get the vanguard rep is long and painful. The marks are ok because between bounties, patrol missions, special events and strikes you get a lot.
