Let me start by saying it: Dude is trash.

Now that that is out of the way, he is a former 9th overall pick. He was put in at LT as a rookie, when many thought he would be a better interior lineman, and was injured in his second year.

Does Veach flip them a 7th and go with the Cam Erving scenario, and start a reclamation project? He does like getting those underperforming former high picks on the cheap....

Or is he just that goddamned terrible? He might just be that bad.

The biggest risk is that if he gets hurt, his 5th year becomes guaranteed (see: Ford, Dee) and we are on the books for 12.5 million for that year. Hence why the Giants are looking to get anything for him before cutting him.

Mike McGlynn is the worst OL I've ever seen start multiple regular season games for the Chiefs.

Worse than Damien McIntosh. Worse than Jordan Black. Worse than Barry Richardson.

Ereck Flowers would likely make a strong push to become the new worst lineman we've ever had potentially start that many games.

If we have to rely on Cam Erving at all this season, he also might challenge for that spot.
