Back when I lived in Missouri, I was at home once and heard an enormous whump against a window. I went over and cautiously opened the curtain, and there was a stunned flying squirrel hanging onto the screen. The nearest tree was probably 40 feet away, so I imagine he was moving pretty good when he nailed the window.
