The trailer looks like this season will be much better than 3 and 4... although the show is already ruined due to the ideas of Fairies, Shape-shifters, and Werewolves.

Had they just stuck with Vampires like the first season I would be much more intrigued.

I stopped watching last year after a few episodes, might try it again this season to see if it picks back up. The first couple of seasons were pretty good, I suffered through season 3.
