Not sure if that's a recommend or a subtle jab.

RIP....a true artist. He always was ahead of his time. Loved his 80's stuff.

Space Oddity is a classic song no doubt. His 80s stuff was sorta poppy but not really in the fun style of the decade (which lets be honest, wasn't all that memorable). Music is art and art is hard so I'm NOT knocking him at all, just that he didn't work for me.
Reading his discography I see "China Girl" hit #3. It's hard not to chuckle at least a bit listening to that: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VrERLeFseDA |

Love that movie but suggest not watching while stoned.

It's just odd. 'This guy was in a movie. The actresses in it with him were really good.' A slight by omission.

I owned several of his albums at the time. Went to see the movie originally because he was in it. Thought it was strange for him to be in a movie and wanted to see the film. I'll **** off now. Dinny |

The man who fell to earth.
Has now left this earth. I hate looking mortality in the eye, but when musicians of your own high school era begin to move on to the next life, it's a little unnerving. |
