Possibly getting married, what do I need to know about a prenup
No kids, only have cat, but have multiple properties and liquid assets. Plan on filing separately even if get married. What do I need to know?

I can't even rag on BWill. Every woman I know seems to talk about marriage and kids incessantly. They've watched The Notebook and a bunch of Disney movies far too many times.

I've told my girl that I'm not sure I want to get married but she insists its the most important thing to her, along with children (she says she wants a $12,000 ring- she can kiss my ass with that shit).

Yeah, don't buy a $12,000 dollar ring at the beginning of the marriage.

When the wife and I got married, I bought her a $2,800 ring (this was in 1997). I told her then that I would buy her a more expensive ring for our 10 year anniversary. Fast forward 10 years, and we renewed our vows on Kaanapali beach in Maui and I gave her a $20,000 ring. I figured by that time she had earned the $167 per month investment for simply putting up with my bullshit.

That sounds reasonable, but women aren't reasonable. Especially in this social media age.

I haven't gotten her to admit it yet, but I'm almost positive she wouldn't accept anything less than $4,000 or so (totally random number I just pulled out of my ass- but she wants an expensive ass ring) because she's going to want to show it off to her friends, family, coworkers, post it on Insta and Facebook, etc.
