Anthony Hitchens - where is the love?
This ****ing guy has easily been our best offseason acquisition. Depending on what site you check, he either leads the league or is 2nd in tackles this season.

And here’s the thing - his tackles are NASTY. When Hitch hits you, you ****ing KNOW IT. We have craved this kind of tenacity on this defense for years.

And I’m here for it.

I think Ragland's knee is bothering him more than we know. I get the "low risk - high reward" thing, BUT when you count on a guy like that to fill a major need, and he can't, it really sets the team back... Then, the "low risk" turns into a HIGH one in terms of it keeping you from where you want to go.

He's a guy I wouldn't fault individually because the guys around him are so terrible, but I wouldn't swing off his nuts for tackling guys 10+ yards after the LOS every play. He's doing everything he can, though, which is great. Ray Lewis wouldn't be doing much better.

Here's the thing, run D barely matters any more. The league is a joke. It's literally Arena League (thanks, Herm). So covering and sure-tackling is all that matters, and he seems to mostly have the latter down at least. Ragland is ****ing terrible, and even if he was a "good 2-down thumper" -- which he's not -- that just doesn't do much for us. Hopefully O'Daniel gets some snaps and can run with TEs and backs.

This guy is horrible in coverage hes Donnie Edwards 2.0. I cant believe all the love for the stat padding tackles 8 yards downfield

He's the only guy on the team that really has any tackles for loss.

He also didn't play all preseason. He's only going to get better.
